Your customer asked for an EcoVadis score. We’ll handle it.
From your first submission to a Gold medal, our team manages the assessment, documentation, and score improvement, so you can focus on running your business.
If you’ve been asked for an EcoVadis score, here’s what that means.
EcoVadis is the sustainability rating procurement teams at most Fortune 500 companies use to evaluate suppliers. Your customer is asking because their sustainability commitments now depend on yours. Scores range from 0 to 100. Medals start at 50 (Bronze), and a score under 45 will often pull you from preferred-supplier status.
Here’s the catch: a strong sustainability program doesn’t automatically produce a strong EcoVadis score. The methodology rewards documented policies, formal management systems, and specific evidence, not just outcomes. Companies with real programs routinely score 10-20 points below what they deserve because they don’t know how to present what they’ve already done.
That’s the gap we close.
Your EcoVadis data also feeds directly into CDP disclosure questionnaires. Companies with strong Environment scores are well-positioned for SBTi target validation.
From scorecard to Gold medal, end to end.
We manage every step of the EcoVadis process. You give us a few hours of your team’s time and your existing documents. We handle the rest.
We start where you are
If you already have a score, we review your scorecard to identify exactly which themes and questions are pulling you down, where the highest-leverage improvements are, and what’s realistic in the next cycle.
We build the evidence pack
Our team works with yours to formalize the policies, KPIs, and evidence EcoVadis expects. We turn what you already do into what the methodology can score. Most clients give us 6-10 hours total across the cycle.
We submit, then keep going
We handle the assessment submission, respond to any clarifications from EcoVadis, and start preparing for next year the moment your score lands. Continuous improvement is built in.
With Greenplaces’ deep industry expertise and software platform, we were able to improve our EcoVadis score significantly over last year. The data foundation now also powers our CDP submission, same work, two outputs.
One dataset. Every framework your customers ask for next.
The work you do for EcoVadis is the same foundation CDP asks for, that SBTi needs to validate targets, that California SB 253 will require. Build it once with us, adapt it to whatever comes next.
CDP
Climate, water, and forest disclosures, managed by experts who know exactly what scorers reward.
SBTi target validation
Set science-aligned targets, build the inventory to back them, and get through validation without months of back-and-forth.
California SB 253 & SB 261
CARB-ready emissions disclosures and climate-related financial risk reports for any business doing business in California.
Other frameworks
GRI, SASB/ISSB, GRESB, B Corp certification, and more, all managed from the same engagement.
What people ask us first.
How long does EcoVadis preparation take?
Preparing a full submission with our team typically takes four to six weeks, followed by EcoVadis’ own analysis of six to eight weeks. We compress preparation significantly compared to going alone, clients are usually surprised how little of their own team’s time we need.
What does the engagement actually cost?
Pricing is a fraction of the cost of traditional consulting for equivalent scope, because the platform makes our experts more efficient. The exact number depends on which frameworks you need and how many entities you’re reporting on. That’s what the strategy call covers.
We already have a low EcoVadis score. Can you help?
Yes, score improvement is one of the most common reasons companies come to us. Bring us your most recent scorecard and we’ll walk you through the gap, what’s pulling your number down, and what’s realistic in the next cycle.
Do you handle CDP, SBTi, and SB 253 too?
Yes. The data you build for EcoVadis is the same foundation CDP wants, that SBTi needs to validate targets, and that California SB 253 will require. One engagement, one dataset, multiple outputs.
What does the strategy call cover?
30 minutes. Bring your scorecard if you have one, or the email request from your customer. We’ll walk through what’s required, what’s realistic, and what an engagement looks like. No cost, no commitment.
Bring us your scorecard. We’ll handle the rest.
30-minute call. Walk away with a clear path to a higher score next cycle. No cost, no commitment.
