Recertifying in 2026 or later

If your company is up for recertification in 2026 or beyond, you are transitioning to B Corp 2.1. that means:

Certifying for the first time

Companies pursuing B Corp certification for the first time will be able to submit under B Corp 2.1 starting in March 2026. Greenplaces helps first-time applicants meet the new, more rigorous requirements from day one, with a particular focus on:

If your organization has 250 or more employees, additional expectations apply. You will need:

  • Science-based targets

  • GRI- or SASB-aligned impact reporting
