Google’s Supplier Code of Conduct emphasizes environmental responsibility, requiring suppliers to minimize environmental impact and improve resource efficiency. Suppliers must obtain necessary environmental permits, engage in pollution prevention, manage hazardous substances, and reduce waste and emissions. They are also expected to implement water management programs and strive for energy efficiency, including setting GHG reduction goals and increasing clean energy use, with a target of 100% clean energy by 2030 for Google products and services.
