What Dell requires
Dell Technologies requires suppliers in its Emissions Supplier Engagement Program (ESEP) to reduce Scopes 1, 2, and Scope 3 (category 1) GHG emissions by 45% from 2019 levels by 2030, aligning with Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) standards. Suppliers should establish, track, and publicly report on a company-wide GHG reduction goal, covering all Scopes 1, 2, and key Scope 3 emissions. Dell also encourages suppliers to reduce water use, implement water risk management, and achieve ISO 50001 certification for energy management.
