What FORVIA requires
Mandatory for all FORVIA panel suppliers. Env. Pillar AND Social Pillar: >50 (2024-2025), >60 (2026). Action plan required if below threshold.
Strongly encouraged but not contractually mandatory. FORVIA itself holds CDP A rating.
Suppliers must build a decarbonization trajectory shared with FORVIA, validated by SBTi if possible. Must comply with FORVIA milestones.
GHG scopes required: S1 · S2 (−80% by 2027) · S3 (−45% by 2030) + Part-level CO₂ PCF at each RFQ.
What happens if you don't meet it
Suppliers who fail to meet FORVIA’s requirements face scoring penalties in RFX/bidding that reduce competitiveness for new business. Stated consequence: NO NEW BUSINESS if <60.
How to prepare quickly
If FORVIA has asked for your disclosure, treat it as a defined project with a deadline, not a checkbox. Key timing: Env+Social >50: 2025. >60: 2026.
