Supplier chooses EITHER EcoVadis (must include carbon module) OR CDP (integrated submission). Only one required annually.
Accepted alongside EcoVadis. Supplier chooses either CDP or EcoVadis with carbon module.
SBTi commitment + validation by end of 2025 — deadline passed. Also requires named 3rd-party GHG verifiers: SGS, TÜV, or Bureau Veritas.
GHG scopes required: S1 · S2 · S3 · PCF (PACT framework).
What happens if you don't meet it
Suppliers who fail to meet Novartis’s requirements face contract termination or breach. Stated consequence: Contractual breach risk.
