What Salesforce requires
EcoVadis env. score: ≥45 = meets; ≥55 = exceeds; ≥75 = far exceeds. Small suppliers (<500 employees) may receive fee credit. Annual scorecard mandatory.
CDP accepted alongside EcoVadis. B/B- = meets; A- = exceeds; A = far exceeds.
Commit within 90 days of Exhibit signing. Validate within 2 years. Near-term minimum.
GHG scopes required: S1 · S2 · S3 + allocated to Salesforce.
What happens if you don't meet it
Suppliers who fail to meet Salesforce’s requirements face a financial penalty (typically a percentage of contract spend). Stated consequence: 💰 0.5% of spend.
