EcoVadis + Sedex required. >95% of suppliers by purchasing volume registered on EcoVadis. CDP also required for strategic/high-emitting suppliers.
CDP Supply Chain required for suppliers classified as strategic and high-emitting. CDP A-rating company.
Suppliers urged to set 1.5°C-aligned climate targets and decarbonization plans. Not a hard mandate.
GHG scopes required: S1 · S2 (operational) · S3 (Scope 3 Cat 1 = 1.72M tCO₂e in 2024).
What happens if you don't meet it
Suppliers who fail to meet Symrise’s requirements face contract termination or breach. Stated consequence: Contract termination.
