What UCB requires
Required. ≥45/100 on each of 4 EcoVadis themes individually. ≥55 all themes = Sustainability Partner recognition.
Not confirmed as a direct supplier requirement. UCB holds CDP Double A but does not mandate CDP for suppliers.
Level A or B Carbon Maturity required for Preferred Vendor status. UCB goal: 60% of supplier emissions covered by SBTs by 2025 (deadline passed).
GHG scopes required: S3 (via SBT coverage target).
What happens if you don't meet it
Suppliers who fail to meet UCB’s requirements face loss of preferred-vendor status. Stated consequence: Preferred vendor status.
How to prepare quickly
If UCB has asked for your disclosure, treat it as a defined project with a deadline, not a checkbox. Key timing: 60% of supplier emissions covered by SBTs: 2025 (UCB portfolio goal).
