About this event
PACK EXPO International is the largest packaging and processing trade show in North America, produced by PMMI and held every two years at McCormick Place in Chicago. From October 18–21, 2026, more than 2,700 exhibitors and roughly 48,000 professionals from 40+ vertical markets will fill the show floor — from converters and material suppliers to the brands, contract manufacturers, and plant leaders who buy from them. Alongside live equipment demos and themed pavilions for containers and materials, healthcare packaging, food and beverage processing, and logistics, the show runs free education on the floor, including Sustainability Central, the Reusable Packaging Learning Center, and the Innovation Stage.
It's built for the people who make packaging decisions at scale: engineering, operations, purchasing, and the sustainability leads increasingly asked to defend those decisions with data.
Why we're going
The Greenplaces team will be walking the show floor across all four days, with no booth to tend and a full schedule of conversations to have. Some of the best relationships we built last year started on a PACK EXPO floor, and we're going back to do it again: meet with customers who are exhibiting, get to know the suppliers and converters we haven't worked with yet, and sit in on the sustainability programming to hear where the industry thinks packaging is heading in 2027.
