In April of 2021, I founded Greenplaces on the belief that our global sustainability goals cannot be achieved without involving all businesses.
It’s remarkable that today many of the largest businesses in the world have taken sustainability seriously. Now it’s time for the rest of the market to do our part.
But, there’s a big difference between the Fortune 500, and everyone else.
Simply put – global businesses have resources to invest in complex enterprise climate tools, and in-house expertise-– most companies do not.
With the help of investors like Redpoint, and Felicis, we’re busy building an all-in-one sustainability tool for companies. But these businesses need more than a tool – they need expertise too.
And now, I’m excited to announce that Noel Kinder, Chief Sustainability Officer at Nike, is joining our Advisory Board to help bring expertise to the masses.
With decades of experience helping Nike’s thousands of vendors and partners meet sustainability goals – we couldn’t think of a better representative to help us democratize access to sustainability.
Our goal will be to build out an Advisory Team, and help serve the tens of thousands of businesses who will begin their sustainability journey in the next 12 months.
Our first product vision was to develop a “Chief Sustainability Officer in a Box” – and now, we’re excited to partner with Noel to help make that even more of a reality.
Phil Knight once said, “I’ve been fortunate to be around good people.”
I’ve been fortunate too – thank you to Noel as well as the team members, partners, clients, and investors who’ve helped Greenplaces continue our mission.
Thank you!
Alex
